I am sure that artist and model Dora Maar, like most beautiful people, felt time breathing down her neck now and again. It makes sense to me that she chose to create a gelatin silver print of a spider web spread like cracks across the face of equally beautiful Nusch Eluard (as photographed by Man Ray). I wanted this track to be the most violent and driving track - to sound like an onslaught.

[I am being very careful in these notes not to speak of any of these artists as muses, lovers, mentees, or otherwise accessories to the more widely known male artists they ran with. They are important figures in and of themselves, not IN RELATION TO other famous people.]
